Laughter
I'm not going to lie, the wedding planning process has not been all 'puppies and rainbows'. Growing up I was never the little girl who fantasized about her wedding day... so I have found some tasks a bit irritating and more like homework assignments. Amidst our busy and sometimes stressful schedules, we try to find the humor :)
Last night before we went to bed, I turned on the tv. The scene that appeared was a reality wedding show. I had no idea what it was, but decided to watch for just a moment to get a good look at the brides' dress. The couple started saying some very odd things to one another and then I noticed the show title in the lower part of the screen "Hitched or Ditched". Ahhhh another classy American reality show. Don't get me wrong, I am the first one to admit I am obsessed with the New York Housewives or Top Chef, but "Hitched or Ditched" doesn't scream quality programming. Anyhow, the camera panned out and I burst into laughter! Standing at the alter was the first minister we had interviewed in Beverly Hills. He was very expensive and not really our cup of tea, so Mike and I decided to interview a few more. Seeing him preside over this joke of a wedding on tv only affirmed our decision to go with someone else.
So if you are in the market for a bad reality show, tune in, you might see Reverend Hufft again!
