Six Years Later...

This Saturday Mike & I celebrated our 6 year anniversary. Since we are on a 'wedding budget' we decided to go low key this year, and celebrate with good food & good friends. I planned our day & kept it a surprise for Mike.

We woke up early Saturday morning and I started making our picnic lunch. I finally used our new panini press! Thanks to Emily & Laurie :) I made some delicious pressed croissant sandwiches with smoked Gouda, Parmesan, and salami. I tried another one of Giada's recipes... a dill Mascarpone dip!



We left the house and headed over to Men's Warehouse, where Mike picked out his tux and the tuxes for all of his groomsmen. Here's a sneak peak...



We shared a picnic in the park and headed over to the Getty. Even though it is just minutes away, we had not been there in a few years. We had a great time viewing the French bronze statue exhibit and exploring the gardens. Later that evening we headed over to Marisa & Ari's house to visit with some of our favorite people. Holly, our friend from Texas, was in town for a quick trip. We spent the entire night laughing.
