I'm getting married this year!

Isn't that just plain crazy? When I say it out loud I get butterflies in my stomach and my heart starts to beat a little faster. I am so excited!!! At the same time, I don't think I will fully grasp the fact that I am really getting married, until the day of... once I step into my dress, once I see all the smiling faces of our family & friends, once I get to the end of the aisle.... then it will feel real ;)

Sorry I don't have any new wedding updates for you. Mike and I took some time off from planning to enjoy the holidays. However, I did go with my friend Heidi to get her dress this weekend! She had sent me a picture, so I knew the dress she was interested in was beautiful, but when she put it on, it became magical!!! She looked absolutely gorgeous in it. This Sunday we also went to go see Bride Wars. It was a really cute & funny movie. I think it was particularly fun for us to see, since we are both engaged at the same time, going through the planning stages together & getting married right around the same time this year. However, there will be no 'wars' between us ;) Heidi, I promise not to dye your hair blue if you promise not to give me a blood orange spray tan.
