Yes!!!

We have been dating for five years now, and celebrated our anniversary with a dinner at Mortons. We had never dined there before, and neither of us were very impressed. During the week, Mike suggested that we go out to dinner somewhere in Orange County to make up for the disappointing meal. We drove down Saturday and recounted some of the memories from the days when I lived in Huntington. We stopped in Newport Beach, and Mike asked me if I wanted to take a walk before dinner. When we got to the sand, Mike got down on one knee and asked me if I would share the rest of my life with him & pulled out a little black box. I was beyond shocked, but at least found the words to reply "Yes!!!" We spread out a blanket on the sand and Mike took at a bottle of wine from the bag he had been carrying. I think I spent every 5 minutes looking over my shoulder, in fear that the lifeguard would see our toast and haul us off to jail, ruining the moment. But that was not the case, thankfully!

After our toast, Mike drove us to a beautiful restaurant on top of a hill in the city of Orange. It had an amazing view and great atmosphere. We had a fantastic meal, topping our dinner at Mortons without a question.
